Coping with Chemo’s Powerhouse Fruit Smoothie Recipe

SMOOTHIE BASE:

1 cup coconut milk
1 cup whole milk plain yogurt
1 frozen banana
2-4 scoops of Weight Gain powder. We recommend Naturade.

FRUIT:

1 cup orange juice
1 cup frozen orange slices
1 cup frozen pineapple
Optional nutritional supplements*

DIRECTIONS:

In a blender or Vitamix process the liquid ingredients first, then add the protein powder and blend until smooth. Lastly add the frozen fruit and any other ingredients. Blend again.

VARIATIONS:

You can vary the kinds of fruit you use. Just make sure you use unsweetened juices and for best results use frozen fruit instead of ice. *Visit our supplements page to adapt the smoothie for your nutritional needs and taste.
